Concordia University student collective gets moving with c(art) exhibition.
2X4X22

April 13th-19th, 2009 - 22 emerging artists take their art to the streets- on carts!
An initiative of Concordia University’s ARTX program, 2X4X22 is an exhibition on wheels. Each measuring 2 feet by 4 feet, 22 art-carts designed and crafted by students in Site-Specific Installation will disperse throughout the city, engaging with the pedestrian public and negotiating urban space as they go.

Tackling problems of site specificity as they relate to the city, the cart, and the psychological site of travel, 2X4X22 is as much an action as it is an exhibition.
Throughout the 6-day period, the group sets off through various sites in the Downtown Core, The Plateau, and Old Port/ Lachine Canal areas, coming together in a Cart Corral April 18th outside the Canadian Centre for Architecture as part of Open Sessions-University Studies at the CCA.
